As a central point of contact for PhD candidates and postdocs at LUH, the Graduate Academy offers various information, consultation and qualification services.

The Graduate Academy serves prospective doctoral candidates, doctoral candidates and postdocs and assists them during all the stages of their doctorate and their postdoctoral careers, as well as with planning their career paths – in both scientific and non-scientific fields.

GRANAT is the Faculty of Natural Sciences' service for the promotion of young scientists and offers, among other things, a portfolio of high-quality qualification courses. The courses are primarily tailored to the needs of the natural sciences.

Interested persons from other faculties of LUH can also participate in GRANAT courses for a course fee.

The International Office promotes the internationalisation of research and the integration of international researchers at LUH. In addition to providing advising on various topics, we offer workshops and events for all researchers at LUH.

As part of the Leibniz Science Communication Lab project, Communications and Marketing offers workshops in the field of science communication and knowledge transfer for LUH professors and researchers at the postdoc level in order to support them in their role as science communicators in the best possible way.

We offer individual and comprehensive advising on different national funding opportunities for researchers at LUH.

We offer specialist and process-related advice to LUH institutions and staff in leadership positions on the topics of strategy development, project management and change, knowledge management, process analysis and optimisation, and health management.

Researchers at Â鶹¹ÙÍø regularly make inventions. The Patents and Start-Ups unit advises and supports you in all matters related to inventions, patenting and other property rights.

As part of the Hannover Transfer Campus project, we offer qualification courses on legal and business basics. These courses also include content on personal development and on knowledge and technology utilisation.

Whether you work in research, teaching, administration or a technical field, with or without management responsibilities – we are happy to assist you and your team with your professionalisation needs. Our human resources development services cover coaching, consultations, qualification and team development.

The ZQS supports teaching staff and students with organising successful teaching and learning processes – including the optimal use of digital tools and methods as well as the teaching of transferable skills for academic and professional success and the competence-oriented design of courses and examinations.
